ASTA State Chapters

When you join ASTA, you are not only joining a national organization of more than 7,500 members. Your ASTA membership also includes membership in your state chapter. State chapters often are able to address local issues that the national office cannot. Members should feel free to contact their state chapter at any time.

Chapters differ greatly in regard to their member profiles. Some states consist largely of private studio teachers, while others are mainly composed of public school teachers. Since the demographics of our states vary greatly, our state chapters are able to focus on the issues most important to their members. The state chapter dynamic of ASTA is a great way to ensure that the needs of ASTA members are met on all levels.
